Fundraising Complete!

 WE DID IT! We have completed our $500,000 fundraising effort.

Next steps are with the Township getting the tender documents prepared and released to market.

Early in the new year we will be awarding the Design & Construction contract and hopefully break ground once the snow is gone. Very exciting...

Location Chosen

We now have a location! It took some convincing on my side but The Township has settled on Jim Schmidt Memorial Park. This is the location that our committee has been advocating for since day 1. This location is central to the most populated areas of Ayr and will maximize the utilization of the facility once completed. Schmidt Park is located at 53 Hilltop Drive Ayr and is directly beside Cedar Creek Public school and neighbours the Ayr Fire Hall. The park has a covered pavilion with washrooms, 2 baseball diamonds, 3 tennis courts, open green space, a walking path with shade structures and a new playground. The Pump Track will be a fantastic addition!
